This encompasses anything you can imagine in the jewellery world. Ladies and Men’s Wedding bands, engagement rings, matching wedding bands, earrings, pendants, bangles, tennis bracelets, Family Logo Crest Rings Along with the jewellrey I make I sell natural and lab created diamonds, sapphires, rubies etc. All sourced ethically from Canadian companies. I can make said custom piece with any of the noble metals…Gold(of any karat or colour),Platinum or Silver. I can also incorporate Tungsten, Titanium or even Meteorite. 

Jewellery Repairs and Jewellery Refurbishment 

Jewellery repairs are one of my speacialties. From ring sizing, retipping, chain soldering, replacing of missing stones, diamonds included, rebezeling, new shanks to rebuild the bottom of rings, soldering rings together, rhodium plating…in other words, if your jewellery needs repairing, think about bringing it to James and Son Jewellery. It will be finished professional right in house. 

Jewellery Repurpose

If you have some old family jewellery handed down to you, and want it remade into something new, this is the shop. Grandpas wedding band can be melted down with new gold to make afresh wedding band to wear for your lifetime.  Grandmas diamond can be set into a new ring design picked out by you and made by James and Son Jewellery, in house.

  • If you need or want a piece of custom jewellery, we take care of everything from conceptualization to creation. Send us some inspiration – an image, an old piece of jewellery, etc. – and we will get back to you ASAP!

  • The internet is full of great ideas that can be amalgamated, or the local friendly neighbourhood goldsmith can help.

  • The wax model is part of the lost wax casting process. The goldsmith produces a 3D model of the desired piece of jewellery. This allows for the result of the design to be reviewed and is the last chance to change the design.

  • Any piece of jewellery can be made into a platinum piece. We specialize in many different materials – please ask if you are interested in a custom platinum piece.

  • You should choose the style you like that fits your budget. We’d be happy to advise you on our metal and gemstone options.

  • Any time we melt or recycle jewellery, we call that redesigned.

  • There's more attention to what the customer wants and needs instead of a cookie-cutter mould that has been mass-produced.
